Facilities and Equipment
Dr.Vanessa Chang’s office was the first optometry practice in the Rio Grande Valley to have full Electronic Medical Records capablity since May 2000. Dr. Chang feels it is important to have accurate, detailed, reliable and rapidly recallable patient information for better patient care. Computerized assisted testing helps to insure accuracy and thoroughness of a comprehensive eye examination whether it be for a hard to diagnose glasses or contact lens prescription or detecting small variations of retina health for such things as diabetic retinopathy or hypertensive retinopathy. - Zeiss Non-contact Tonometer (” puff ” machine to measure interocular pressure)
